Low Temperature Operation

This test simulates the stress on the component at low temperatures during operation. The low-temperature operation test is used to ensure the function of the product after a long rest period or operation at low temperatures. These tests are usually performed in a temperature range from -40°C to -55°C. Basic test standards are DIN EN 60068-2-1 as well as ISO 16750-4. In automotive standards LV124, VW 80000, GS 95024-3-1 and MBN 10306 this test is known as K-03.
